I asked ALTHY’s customer service. This descaling device does not reduce the TDS value of water, but I don’t need it to reduce the TDS value. I have a reverse osmosis water purifier at home. The water quality here is terrible. So I set up a filtration system and when I chose a descaling machine, I chose this one which does not require electricity or chemicals. So far, two months, the results are very good. No limescale buildup has been found in the bathroom or toilet.

I used a WS100 in my previous house and it worked great. When I moved to a bigger house I needed a descaler with a higher flow rate. The WS200 is a perfect fit. It protects my water system from limescale.

The descaler is high quality and very well made. It works exactly as claimed. We have had a lot of limescale build up on shower screens and appliances in our area and the Athy AL-WS200 has already made a noticeable difference. There is no limescale build up on shower screens now -we just wipe down once every one or two weeks and they are crystal clear. Coffee machine has no build up either.
